In memory of Bill Weir (US M9)

I was sad to hear about the death of bay area windsurfer, Bill Weir, last week. He had been battling brain cancer for the past year. Bill was a regular at Crissy Field for many years and a favorite of mine to watch. No matter if it was on his formula or slalom gear, Bill was always making the most of the conditions and having fun.

    Very sad to hear of Bill Weir’s passing. Last week we lost another Crissy Field windsurfing legend, Ted Lowe. Both will be missed for the energy and spirit they brought to the world. Thank you for taking the photos and making them available.
