The San Francisco marathon course went right past my house and since a few friends were running I ventured out into the cold, misty morning to get some shots. The runners looked to be enjoying the cool weather.

It was windy again at Crissy Field, and on the weekend too.
I stopped by Crissy Field yesterday after work and got a few shots of Steve Bodner and Soheil Zahedi getting in some good slalom sailing. They were both using 7.3m North sails but different 105l boards. The water was amazingly flat in near the beach making for some fast jibes. At 8pm they were still going strong. Check it out…
I headed up to Sonoma to shoot the official race photos for the Napa - Sonoma Half Marathon and 10k. The weather was beautiful. This must be one of the most scenic half marathons anywhere. The course runs right through wine country, past many vineyards and ends in downtown Sonoma.
