Boardsports School in Alameda
Tuesday, May 15th, 2007| I met up with Rebecca at the Boardsports School in Alameda to shoot some photos for her upcoming how-to article for Windsurfing Magazine. After the photo shoot, Rebecca got me set up with one of their rigs and we went out for a little windsurfing. It wasn’t the windiest day ever, but lots of fun. |  |
Windsurfing at Candlestick Park
Sunday, May 13th, 2007For a little variety, I went to check out the scene there. One guy was sailing without a wetsuit, something you don’t see too often when it’s 60 degrees with cold water and lots of wind. I also got a few shots of some good freestyle moves.
View from the bridge
Saturday, May 12th, 2007Today I headed up onto the Golden Gate Bridge to try to get a view different from the normal stand-on-the-beach. It was so windy up there I felt like I was going to get blown over the edge.
After that, I headed back down to Crissy Field to get a few shots. Here’s Soheil Zahedi and Jean Rathle on their small gear.

2007 Elvstrom Zellerbach Regatta
Saturday, May 5th, 2007St. Francis Yacht club hosted its annual Elvstrom Zellerbach Regatta today. I hitched a ride on one of the race committee boats and got some good shots. Classes included 29ers, Finns, formula windsurfing, and Laser. The wind was light and variable, making for some challenging racing. Check out the photos…
Crissy Field Action
Friday, May 4th, 2007The wind was up today and there were a bunch of sailors out practicing their freestyle. Then at 5:30, the Friday Night race series started.
