I just heard from one of the editors at Windsurfing Magazine that one of the pictures I took at the Bridge to Bridge race on Friday is going to be featured on their website along with a regatta report that Steve Bodner submitted.

This morning I shot photos at the ANA Cable Car Chase, a 5.67 mile run on the cable car routes of San Francisco. I ended up hiking about half the course to get to the spot I wanted to shoot from, on California St. at the top of Nob Hill. The I rode the cable car back down the hill and got some shots of the finishers.

After work, I headed over to the Golden Gate Bridge and hiked out to mid-span. At 5:30 sharp, the whole fleet of Australian 18’s, kitesurfers, and windsurfers came flying under the bridge on their way downwind to the Oakland Bay Bridge. Check out the photos.
Today, I am shooting my first wedding. Wedding photographer Genevieve Stevens asked me to help her at a wedding today at Silverado in Napa, CA. The entire event is outdoors and the weather is supposed to be great - hopefully some good photo opportunities.

Pacwest Athletics hosted the annual Presidio 5k Relay at Crissy Field in San Francisco.

Pacwest Athletics hosted the first Xterra Scramble at Mount Tamalpais. With both a 5k and 12k option, there was something for everyone. The course featured some great singletrack trail and even a jump over a creek. Hopefully they’ll do the event again next year.
